Spent much time last night chasing those actors who have signed up for Much Ado but failed to respond to my email asking them a few simple questions about dates.
Nowadays chasing people involves deciding whether email, text or Facebook is most likely to get a response and is generally frustrating and fiddly. It is my own fault of course for doing these big cast plays with a youngish cast (not that the olds are spec
ially good at responding either)
Every play I embark upon I swear it's going to be different, and I'm not going to spend hours chasing and cajoling and accommodating. And then I spend hours chasing, cajoling and accommodating.
The title of the book I'm reading, "Predictably irrational" says it all.
